Okay. It’s been a long time. Sorry for that. But I needed to do some work that actually makes money cause I was getting pretty poor. Now that that’s done I can spend some time on this plugin again. I figured out what was causing the plugin to not work in IE8 (used an unsupported javascript function) and I also figured out what was causing the errors in 1.3.1 (Forgot to take out some debugging code.)
So in short: there are no new features since version 1.3.1. Only bug fixes. But since almost nobody could use version 1.3.1 Here’s a list of those features again:
orderby
. Allows you to order images by title, publish date, or even randomly.order
, id
, size
, include
, exclude
.image_size
parameter is deprecated. It will still work, but it’s better to use size
instead.NOTE: Apparently this version causes a lot of errors with other plugins. So I changed the stable version back to 1.3. I haven’t experienced any problems with it myself though, so if you want you can download version 1.3.1 from the SVN repository.
Hello again, it’s been a couple of weeks, so this next update is pretty huge. There are a bunch of new features, and also the internal workings of RGG have changes significantly. Please let me know if anything isn’t working as expected, because I haven’t found the time to test everything yet.

Updates include:
The plugin was causing JavaScript errors if no Gallery Grid was present on the page. Another bug well fixed!
Included padding and borders into the calculations, so the grid won’t break if one of those are added to the images.
I apologize for the double update today. But I had some spare time and there were a couple of things I desperately wanted to fix. Here they are:
* escaped the captions so double quotes can be added in the caption text.
* Added captions
parameter to shortcode, so captions can be disabled.
* Some bug fixes
Enjoy!
There were some problems with the plugin hijacking the native gallery in such a way that other plugins couldn’t fully access the gallery anymore. I fixed this, so now it possible to -for example- let your images point to custom links, thanks to plugins like WP Gallery Custom Links.
Only 5 days after the initial realease of Responsive Gallery Grid I have decided to go out of beta and I’m proud to release RGG 1.1! (I couldn’t use 1.0 because I accidentally released my first beta version as such..)
It’s finally here!
